How much wind can they handle?

Our Mega, Super, and Jumbo Inflatable Screens can be setup with winds up to 15-mph. Once the screen is standing, it can handle winds of up to 24-mph. Anything beyond 24-mph winds, we will deflate the screen. The screen can be safely deflated in a matter of seconds. We can handle higher winds but it will require additional anchoring. The Jr. Jumbo and Junior screens can handle winds of up to 10 to 12-mph.

How is the screen held in place?

Our Mega, Super and Jumbo Inflatable Screens require an anchor at 4 points of the screen. Therefore, it is ideal for the screen to be set up on a grass area, which will require 1” thick stakes to be anchored 2’ into the ground. If we do not have the ability to set up the screen on a grass area then we can place the screen on hard pavement, but this will require additional anchoring and additional pricing. The Jr. Jumbo and Junior Inflatable screens use sand bags or small stakes that are anchored only about 18” into the ground.

It takes just minutes to inflate the screen. However, depending on the size of the screen and how much of a sound system is requested, it can generally take about 1 to 1½ hrs. for setup.

Can you set it up like a real drive-in (sit in your car and hear it on the radio)?

Yes. We use an FM Transmitter but just remember, always try to use an area with a pitch so that cars can see over other cars.

Are these screens just for outdoor use?

Absolutely NOT, they can be used either indoors or outdoors.

Why inflatable screens?

The setup and breakdown is unbelievably quicker and more cost effective. They can sustain higher winds and look a whole lot better.
